Mr. Vishwanand Singh is the founder of XceLex, firm. He has established this firm with a vision of providing one-stop effective legal solutions by offering a multitude of services in different aspects of the law. He has extensive experience in criminal litigation, NCLT matters. As an astute and incisive litigator and negotiator, Vishwanand has developed a strong track record of successfully representing many high-profile clients in criminal and civil litigation including in the areas of real estate, commercial disputes, and corporate insolvency.
A Delhi Based practicing advocate, his areas of legal expertise are Criminal Matters, Negotiable Instrument Act, Legal Metrology Act, Enforcement Directorate, Commercial Laws, Matrimonial Laws, Consumer Protection Laws, RERA, Municipal Laws, General Corporate Issues, Banking, Dispute Resolution, and Insolvency Bankruptcy Code. Recently, he has successfully done RERA compliance for many companies and suggested preventive measures to avoid the risk of issuing a recovery certificate. Vishwanand also gets invited to speak at several conferences in India and abroad. He undertakes many pro bono criminal court assignments regularly, including conducting training and delivering presentations on Sexual Harassment at Work Place for many companies and NGOs.
Vishwanand has done his Bachelor of Law from Jamia Millia Islamia University and Master of Law from Indian Law Institute in Criminal and Corporate Law. His thesis on Plea Bargaining in India was adjudged best by the ILI in the 4th semester (2011). During his school and college days, he was a sportsperson and represented the Faculty of Law’s cricket team. He also held the post of General Secretary, Faculty of Law. Enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi, he is also a member of Delhi High Court and National Company Law Tribunal. He holds the distinction of being regularly featured in many law articles and papers published in leading magazines. Apart from it, he has taken part in moot courts and various legal seminars held at different places in Delhi.
